Sarah Baughman
Sarah grew up enjoying the hidden gems of wilderness dotted across Southeastern Wisconsin. Throughout her childhood, she spent summers at Camp Y-Koda where she became fascinated with animals, plants, and the natural world.
For the last 10 years, Sarah has worked as the baker at Paradigm Coffee and Music, and has been volunteering with Goodside Grocery Food Co-Op where she gained an appreciation for sustainable food systems and an interest in sustainability. A recent visit to the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, Wisconsin inspired Sarah to return to school in order to pursue an environmental science degree at UW Green Bay.
Sarah is actively involved in wildlife monitoring and surveying through the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity and the Northeastern Wisconsin Audubon. She is currently working as a bird monitoring assistant for projects located at Oneida Nation restoration sites and is a volunteer for the Piping Plover Monitoring Project at the Cat Island Restoration Site in Green Bay.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys creating visual art, taking her dog for walks, and reading a good book in a shady hammock.
