​Approximately 1550 feet of the North Branch Manitowoc River winds its way through this beautiful, mostly wetland 63.84-acre property and we are thrilled to be a part of preserving it into the future.  Part of it was once used for agriculture and over the years the owners have planted hundreds of trees throughout the property including Tamarack, Kentucky Coffee, Yellow Birch, Sugar Maple and Red Maple.  A spring fed creek meanders its way through a stunning cedar swamp where you can hear the numerous woodpeckers and chickadees sing to each other.  A pond was constructed and a prairie restored along the edge of a glacial drumlin creating numerous habitats for the different species of birds and mammals found on the property.   Star nosed moles, North American river otters, sand hill cranes and wood ducks have all been seen here visiting, nesting, eating, living.
