David Kuckuk

​Recently retired as the Director of Sheboygan’s Maywood Environmental Park for 30+ years, David also had a stint as the City’s Park & Forestry Superintendent.  UW-Extension employed David to lead volunteer groups in monitoring several aspects of the Sheboygan River recovery.  Brown County Extension office contracted David to help design and lead environmental programs for students in the Brown County area.  He was also responsible for leading 11 one week sessions of Road Scholar programs from the Trees for Tomorrow location in Eagle River.  His career began as a Park Supervisor/Naturalist with the Washington County Park System where he was directly involved in the design and construction of parks and their environmental education programs.  David holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point in Environmental Education, Resource Management, and Natural Sciences.
