Bella Terra - Northup Conservation Easement

Property story

​   Northup Bella Terra is located within the Pigeon River watershed in the Lake Michigan Basin and abuts the agricultural and suburbanizing west side of the Hwy 43 corridor, the City of Sheboygan and Village of Kohler.  This protected property consists of approximately 68.34 acres of gently rolling land along the Pigeon River corridor, of which approximately 65 acres comprise the Conservation Zone of the Conservation Easement. The land has areas of river shoreline, forested floodplain and southern mesic forest, managed mesic prairie and dry-mesic prairie, an excavated pond with emergent aquatic and wet meadow wetland buffer.
